Represents the gift of the priesthood in Archbishop Murray’s own life and for the people. The ‘M’ represents Mother Mary’s presence and help.
The Red Heart with Cross
Is the emblem of the Sacred Heart and of the Jesus Caritas movement. The Gold Cross Indicates that Bishop Murray Chatlain was ordained on the Feast of the Triumph of the Cross.
The Diagonal River
Represents the mighty rivers, the ancient highways of the Diocese.

Is a standard symbol used throughout the Church representing the nature of the Archbishop’s office. The green reflects newness of life, growth, hope and so represents the life of the people of God
